Since 2009 Eric Beauduin's workshop and showroom is housed in a typical Brussels "Art Nouveau" master house built in 1892.
The house is situated 100 meters from the Horta museum (25 rue Américaine, 1060 Brussels - +32(0)2 5340490 - www.hortamuseum.be).
Victor Horta (1861-1947), the famous "Art Nouveau" Belgian architect imprinted his name on this area of south Brussels.
229 Chaussée de Charleroi is a remarkable spot located on the "Art Nouveau Walk" in St. Gilles. Starting from the Hôtel Solvay (224 Av. Louise) and walking up rue Defacz, you pass the Maison Hankar (rue Defacqz 71), Eric's workshop and showroom (229 Chaussée de Charleroi), the Horta Museum and continue on to the Hôtel Hannon (1 Avenue de la Jonction). You can find more information on the Horta Museum website.
The exceptional painted facade of the house gives an idea of the 1900 golden age of Belgian architecture.
